E-scammers face jail for £12million internet fraud - mirror.co.uk: "18-YEAR-OLD lad who helped run a £12million internet fraud is facing jail.
Ryan Thomas was a member of a five-strong gang who ran ghostmarket.net, which sold credit card details for £2 and has been linked to scams which stole from 65,000 bank accounts.
Thomas, of Swansea, admitted fraud and other charges at Southwark crown court yesterday.
The court heard he was right-hand man to gang leader Nick Webber, 19, who pleaded guilty last month. The pair fled to Spain but were caught after buying items with stolen credit cards.
They will be sentenced with three others next February."
